About
Sally Flannery Ceramics is a sole trader business operated by Sally Flannery, ABN 67 566 580 401, based in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. All pieces are handmade in small batches.
Handmade Nature of Products
All ceramics are handmade and fired in a studio kiln. Each piece will have natural variation in glaze, texture, and form – this is not a defect, it is the character of handmade work. Product photos are representative; your piece may differ slightly in tone or marking.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is fulfilled.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. As a small-batch maker, studio flexibility may occasionally affect this window, but we always aim to get your order out as quickly as possible. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking once your order is on its way.
Damaged Orders
All parcels are sent with Australia Post insurance. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@sallyflannery.com with your order number and photos of the damage.
We will work with you to make it right – either by sending a replacement piece, or by assisting you through an Australia Post insurance claim for a refund. We will follow up the insurance process on our end so you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Returns & Refunds
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or faulty (see above). Your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not affected by these terms.
Workshops
Workshop bookings are confirmed upon payment. We are unable to offer cancellations, however if something comes up and you can’t attend, please let us know at least 14 days before the event. If we are able to fill your spot, we will happily refund the cost of your ticket.
If we cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund.
Intellectual Property
All content on sallyflannery.com – including product images, glaze names, and brand identity – is the intellectual property of Sally Flannery Ceramics. You may not reproduce or repost our content without written permission.
Privacy Policy
Sally Flannery Ceramics is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
What We Collect
When you place an order or sign up to our mailing list, we may collect your name, email address, postal address, and order history. Payment details are processed securely by Stripe – we never store your card information.
How We Use It
We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Australia Post for delivery, and WordPress for our website and checkout. Each operates under their own privacy policy.
